RAYMOND, NH (August 13, 2016): Four people were arrested last evening as a result of the sobriety checkpoint.
Two people were arrest for Driving While Intoxicated and two others for Possession of Marijuana. Officers also issued a number of warnings for other infractions.
Officers received a great deal of support and praise from motorists passing thru the checkpoint which was setup in the area of Route 27 and Epping Street at 9pm and was cleared by 3am.
Officers and Dispatchers were assisted by the Raymond Police Explorers and a volunteer from RCFY in setting up and conducted Raymond Police’s fourth annual Sobriety Checkpoint. Funding for the checkpoint was offset by the Raymond Coalition for Youths inclusion in the Drug Free Communities Grant.
